Join instructor Kelsey from DeForest Dance Academy in Elmhurst for an hour of Hip Hop dance! Bring your friends and learn some new moves. Be sure to wear clothes and shoes that will allow you to dance.

Art Contest

Express Yourself @ your library! Enter our art contest! We will accept: drawings, paintings, photographs, mixed media and sculpture.

Your work will be photographed for posting on our website and we will do our best to display all entries in the library. Bring your art work to the 2nd floor Information Desk by Friday, July 24th.

Face It: an Artistic Self-expression Program for Teens

Friday, July 10, 1:30-3:30pm
Elmhurst Art Museum

Express Yourself in a workshop at Elmhurst Art Museum! Make a plaster casting of your face and collage onto it using words and pictures that describe you. Show your friends who you are and what is important to you through your artwork.

Also, be treated to a personal tour of Marc Sijan's Ultra-Realistic Sculpture exhibition which depicts life-size human figures expressing who they are through what they are doing or wearing including a maid, a dancer, and a security guard.
